Man United’s Victor Lindelof beats Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof was celebrating on Monday night in Sweden.
Lindelof beat the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be named the 2018 Swedish footballer of the year.
It’s the first time that Lindelof has won the award.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the title for 10 years in the row.
However it’s now been two years in succession that Zlatan has missed out on the top Swedish prize.
Last year the award was given to Helsingborgs defender Andreas Granqvist.

Now with the LA Galaxy, Zlatan Ibrahimovic also won an award at the gala event in Stockholm on Monday.
Ibra was crowned the 2018 Swedish striker of the year.
However Zlatan made sure he accepted the award in controversial style. On picking up his prize, Ibra turned to the audience and said:
If I had not come, you would not have come.
Ibra also claimed that he had to show up due to contractual agreements to make sure the Swedish public tuned into the event.
To cap off the controversy, Zlatan also flashed a thumbs down gesture while on stage.
