Man United’s Victor Lindelof & agent Hasan Cetinkaya
Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo have again suggested that Victor Lindelof could leave Man United this summer.
Lindelof, the Swedish international defender, is now in Australia with Man United for the first leg of their pre-season tour.
Will Lindelof still be at Old Trafford when Man United open their 2019-20 season against Chelsea on August 11?
This week Mundo Deportivo have spoken to Hasan Cetinkaya, who is Lindelof’s agent.
Hasan Cetinkaya spoke during the unveiling of another client, Frenkie de Jong, at the Camp Nou.
Cetinkaya told MD the following:
Lindelof is in the orbit of a great European club, but leaving United depends on the English club.
Reading between the lines, is Lindelof’s agent suggesting that the Swede is keen on leaving Old Trafford.
Could Victor Lindelof join Barcelona?
Mundo Deportivo keep pushing that rumour.
Towards the end of June, MD reported that Barcelona have repeatedly tried to sign Lindelof this summer.
Man United have rebuffed all Barca’s approaches so far.
Yet, with Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt seemingly on the verge of joining Juventus, MD repeat the line today that the Catalans are considering signing Lindelof instead.
Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt & Juventus
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Matthijs de Ligt will only consider a move to Juventus this summer, not Barcelona.
