Liverpool star Naby Keita has been left out of Guinea’s squad for their upcoming clash with the Central African Republic.
Bayern Munich vs Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds travelled to the Allianz Arena for the 2nd-leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with Bayern Munich last night.
The two sides headed into the clash with the tie firmly in the balance, on the back of the 0-0 first-leg stalemate played out at Anfield 3 weeks ago.
When all was said and done in Munich, though, it was visitors Liverpool who secured their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Merseysiders took the lead with 26 minutes on the clock, courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance from Sadio Mane.

Bayern pulled level shortly before the half, however, when Joel Matip put through his own net under pressure from Robert Lewandowski.
But a dominant second-half showing from Liverpool eventually saw the visitors emerge with a 2-goal victory.
After Virgil Van Dijk powered home a superb header from James Milner’s corner 20 minutes from time, the in-form Sadio Mane went on to notch his brace, and secure his side’s passage to the Champions League’s final-8 in the 84th-minute.
Keita misses out
One player to have missed out on Liverpool’s impressive win in Germany last night was Naby Keita.
The all-action midfielder was a late scratch from the Reds’ travelling party, after picking up a ‘minor’ injury in training.
And, as per the aforementioned update this afternoon, Keita will be given plenty of time to recover from his problem over the international break.
A leaked image of Guinea’s squad for their upcoming African Nations qualifying clash with the Central African Republic on the 24th of March has seen Keita left out:
