Lionel Messi returned from injury after missing the semi-finals as Barça’s iconic forward line of Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar came up against South American heavyweights River Plate in the Japan 2015 decider. Messi and Suarez were on the scoresheet, the latter taking home the adidas Golden Ball, as Barça became the first team to lift the Club World Cup trophy three times.
