Danny Rose sends message to Tottenham FC ahead of key run-in

Tottenham vs West Ham

Tottenham’s next two games could make or break their 2018/19 season.

The first fixture sees them play host to West Ham United.

Spurs are currently 3rd in the Premier League but there are just three points separating them and 5th place Arsenal who play vs Wolves on Wednesday.

So, winning vs West Ham will be key to Spurs finishing in a Champions League place this season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will then host Ajax in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Rose’s message

Ahead of Spurs key run of games, Danny Rose has sent a message to everyone at Tottenham.

Despite being title challengers at one point in the season, Rose believes this has been a successful season for Tottenham and they have the chance to make it their best ever.

Rose also draws attention to that dreadful run of form earlier in the year that ended Spurs’ title hopes:

“Bar one week when we lost to Burnley, Chelsea and drew to Arsenal, I think over the course of the season we can be proud of what we’ve done.

“It’s not over yet, we’re in the home stretch and we’ve got a chance to make this season one of the best Tottenham has ever had.

“We roll on to a massive game at the weekend (against West Ham) and an even bigger one against Ajax.

“We know what we’re capable of. Every team the manager puts out he’s fully expecting to win. We’ve got to keep believing and see where it takes us.”As quoted by the Independent.
